[Jamming] Paper jams in drum plus imaging issues

Been a long time since I've needed a second/third opinion. I have a iR3035 that intermittently jams with paper being stuck into the drum. appears to not separate properly. Jam code is 0107. Also has a copy quality issue of "blasting" or over toning. Machine is under 100k and doesnt get used tons. Toner is after market that we have used for years with no issues. I have tried turning the paper as it was really bad during High humidity conditions this summer.

    Any input would be appreciated

Try using fresh paper to see if copies look good and no jamming.

Try changing the feed loop from 63 to 80. I have a couple I could only get to work double sided by changing to letterR. Change the loop on douple sided by 2 until it does not jam (can't remember but think it is default at 43). Can't help with the toner issue. I have not seen after market toner work well. I do understand why people use it (to save money). There was a post a while back about a utube video showing how to put some shims in the drum unit to get it to feed into the fuser better. I have not tried that but that video has been up for many years (on this site a few weeks ago).

If memory is accurate the loop adj. is the arc created at registration before reg turns on. Having a little trouble visualizing how this could cause paper into the drum. I got to thinking that there might be too much charge on the drum...causing blasting and paper to potentially stick to drum.
Remember the intro of the small drum diameter and the intro of what we call TFD separation. Tiny Freak'n Drum separation.
Did try adjusting primary and DC bias with no correction on image change.
Funny how when your a company man its only genuine toner... but when its your bottom line how things change

I have been doing this 30 years. I was a service manager and owner was bragging about saving $25,000.00 a month on toner. But the headaches I got and service calls on the Ricoh machines was tremendous. I quit and went to another higher paying company. I remember the 1000 pound stress leaving my shoulders when I quit and said I would never work in management again. Three other techs quit after I did and he ended up selling his company (fairly large one). I feel your pain and have seen Katun and other parts last a while but eventually cause problems. One of the first things I asked when I started working at the place I am working at is if they used Canon toner. Don't know what the issue you are having but also check that metal piece by the registration rollers in case you are getting static build up. I am fairly lucky here as people update a lot and we don't provide maintenance agreements on the older copiers.
