The ADV Models have "Scan and Send" button on Main Menu screen. You set it up under Setting/Registration > Function Setting > Send > Email/iFax Settings > Communication Settings > then enter your email settings for scanning to email. After you do this you have to turn copier off and on to make settings to effect.

If you press the "Show All" button on the screen, and can see the "Scan and Send" button there, then all you need to do is simply edit how the buttons are displayed (which will require an Administrator login)

Here's a link to the user guide page that can walk you through it.

If the icon is NOT on the "Show All" screen, you'll most likely have to either "Initialize All Data/Settings" Under Settings/ Registration, or do a complete re-flash of the firmware.

      Good Luck.
