    Canon Ir-3235

    Hi Guys, having a problem with scan to email leaving a blue background. When making photo copies tests ok. Please see attached image.

      you may have a bad CIS unit

          Clean all your optics, then try doing a White Level adjustment in service mode... Copier > Function > CCD. Reboot and test. If that doesn't work, try clearing R-CON.

          I wouldn't think you're looking at CIS, because copies are ok.

              does the lid completely close? so there are no light coming in from the outside
