    [Misc] Printer Driver Ports

I have a Canon iR-ADV 5240 that has an issue related to the user codes that restrict color usage but allow B&W without having to enter the user code. I know the problem is centered around the print server and the fact their is likely a port being blocked. Here is what I have:

Using the latest PS3 driver I can print just fine directly to the machine using a TCPIP port on a client workstation. From the server I can print just fine to the machine. When I map out to the printer and install the printer that is shared on the server I can print B&W just fine but when I got to add the user information in the popup and click OK I get a message back saying that the communication has failed. So, direct IP printing- fine. Direct printing from the Server itself- fine. Printing from a client to the server shared printer- B&W fine but color I get that the communication to verify the user information can't be completed.

I know there is a list of printer ports that Canon has posted:

The following are ports and programs are necessary for your printer to function properly depending on the
    intended use.

    Ports

    TCP 80 For HTTP communication

TCP 443 For HTTPS communication such as cableless setup operation (Applicable models only)

TCP / UDP 515 For printing using LPR protocol

TCP / UDP 9100 For printing using Raw protocol

TCP / UDP 1900 For Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) operation

TCP / UDP 5222 (MAXIFY Printers)

TCP / UDP 8611 Canon BJNP port for printing

TCP / UDP 8612 Canon BJNP port for scanning (Applicable models only)

TCP / UDP 8613 Canon BJNP port for sending and receiving faxes from the PC (Applicable models only)

    UDP 3702 (
    Windows 7 / Windows Vista)

The following port list applies only to models with memory card slots
    TCP / UDP 137
    TCP / UDP 138
    TCP / UDP 139

I know for a fact that port 80 is blocked at the server, for security reasons. I was told so by the customers IT. What I do not know is which of these ports the driver uses to pass user code information back and forth to verify the information at the machine.

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks
