this one jams before the fuser. ripped the fuser apart to check for the obvious, gears, bushings, bearings but all ok. dug a little deaper and took the transport unit out and checked to see what drove the fuser and i'm pretty sure it's the solenoid and clutch assly at the rear of the transport. this one has only 116k on it and i can push start the fuser with the door cheated and watch it work fine. can someone be kind enough to help me with commonalities with this fuser. oh and the lfr has flat spots. thanks T

on this machine if you cheat the front door you can watch the green knob on the fuser turn ..if it slows down at all it is the cluch that you talked ..they do slip at time and cause that type of jam...also there is a gear in the back that goes bad also....the flat spots I am quessing it is the roller fuser roller if the machine sits alot that is what happens...it age tells me that is sets alot...
