[Misc] IR2525/2545 copying through feeder some portion missing

    Dear All,
Some of our 2545/2525 machines only while copying through feeder some portion is becoming blank attached sample for your reference.

I tried to interchange the feeder, but still same. Most of the machine in this series having the issue(Canon IR2525/2545).But while copying through platen glass is giving good copies.

    Please suggest some possible solution.

    Thanks in advance

    Niyas

Look at the doc feeder from the side and see if it is level (where it scans over the scan glass). I don't know if you can adjust the height on those or not. If not you need to replace the hinges. If you tried another doc feeder either it had bad hinges or something else is wrong. Looks like paper is not against scan glass as it is scanned through. I am surprised they still sell that model but we just bought one. The newer ones work a lot better than the ones made several years ago.

The height can be adjusted, I've had to do quite a few on this series. Usually you get a misread of paper sizes, but I'd level the feeder as best as you can.
