4035 or 4235 which would you prefer to resell used and why?
4035 or 4235 which would you prefer to resell used and why?
Curious about some of the reworks or recalls on these two. Can anyone sum them up as to which would be better and why?
Obvious 4035 would be a little more profitable.
thanks
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.

Both are good. I think the 42XX is a little better. But I have several that are running all day receiving fax and printing and copying. One did almost one million in a year and only problem I had was it would not fax and ended up being flat cable between reader and controller went bad. Swapped fax out until it threw code relating to cable, was not easy to fix. Drums and fusers go longer that 100%. My 1730's are running well also.

One thing I would caution on ANY of the Advanced series, is to make certain you're NOT running on a "Power Over Ethernet" network!! P.O.E. tends to wreak havoc on control panel CPU boards. If you're not certain, either make a custom cable that only provides network signal and leaves P.O.E. disconnected, or connect through a hub.
