    [Jamming] IR3225 - double sided

    hi guys,

Ive a ir3225, approx 250k , only being used as a copier, not printing. Its jamming on A4 double sided only, when and if a copy does come out , it has a huge dog ear on the 2nd side. Single sided come out perfect, nice and flat, paper is of good quality, all settings have been adjusted ref canon d/sided faults. A3 double sided works fine, it also jams from the bypass with the same symptoms of a dog ear.

Ive checked the 3 way unit, flappers, solenoids, fuser, now fuser is just about 100 percent and alot of muck on the heat sink, so I am leaning towards the fuser, jam code is coming up with a delay jam at PS13.

Confusing me as to why the A3 is working fine d/sided.

    any ideas?

Sorry, for hijacking the thread but im having the same problem except it jams around %70 of the time, Letter double sided and paper comes out also with a dog ear on the top right side if i look at it from behind with the door open.

Would you mind telling me where exactly do you configure paper size for double sided please?

                  hi guys,

update on my d/sided jamming with dog ears....took a used 3 way unit and a used door assy back to this machine. Took out and replaced the 3 way unit, tested 20 d sided and thought hey, its working...did a few single sided and it jammed, did a few more double sided and guess what? The dog ears started in the exact same place. tried single sided again and that started jamming. So i thought....sod it, gonna try Canon paper, put about 50 sheets in from a unopened ream i had in the van, and did 25 double side, no jams, or dog ears. Single sided worked fine. Took out the canon paper, put in customers, dog ears and jams. Put back canon paper and no issues...informed customer about the paper and of course, no it cant be the paper, our old machine always worked fine with that paper.......
