Canon IR 3235 jam error on duplex STNRY

Hi again,One machine has been having a LOT of jams in the duplex area, error is on sensor PS13 Jamtype STNRY but i have no idea what STNRY means.

The strange part is, sometimes the print actually comes out good, but more than half the time paper gets jammed entering the delivery tray.

Tried cleaning rollers on the paper path but its still happening a lot.

    Any advice appreciated.

STNRY means stationary. I am not sure where PS13 is but sometimes those flags have a damper pad that gets sticky over time and you have to remove them. You may have to remove the 2/3 assembly and see if the flag got knocked out or needs another spring wrap. The jam code is more helpful.

Hi yeah error code is 0207 sensor ps13 STNRY.

Im thinking more asbout something being wrong in the paper settings, we have another machine of the exact sqame model and that one prints double sided just fine.

Any idea on how to configure the paper sizes for double sided prints? not sure if this makes any difference but jams occur with both, ADF and bed copies.

EDIT: About the damper pads... are those located below the sensor flags?

That series of machine jams a lot, all over. For a stationary jam I would look at or around the sensor that shows the jam. Move the flag to see if it sticks on the pad or is sluggish. Sometimes you have to add a wrap on the spring. If it feeds fine single sided the paper settings are ok. There may be a loop adjustment for double sided. I have one tech pub I will attach showing you the pads (some but not all). I would remove the ones on the right door flapper if they are black, leave the white ones in. It could be a lot of things. Most of my calls on that series are for jams. Removing damper pads.pdf

If this machine is designed anything like the iRAdv C5000/C5200 series, you might want to look at the 2nd/3rd Delivery unit (just above the right door area). There's a little flag on top of it that has a tendency to get knocked out of its holding pins quite easily. You never notice a jam on 1 sided copies/prints- only duplex. Fairly easy to remove and reinstall. Just check your manual for 2nd/3rd Delivery unit.

            Good luck.

thanks for the tip, however what made the trick for me was removing the pads mentioned in the manual dan777 posted above, now after around 60 tries not a single jam.

              thanks guys.
