Hi,

Please help me with this error. It keeps on coming back.

What I noticed is the laser shutter of Black is opened when I removed the whole imaging unit, so I re-aligned it then the machine start working, but after a week it came back the same error again. I've done this re-aligning 3 times. I've also change the whole imaging unit, same scenario, after a couple of days same error.

the error says drum motor, but the drum motor is working fine, ITB also is working fine.

It has been found by cleaning the drum rotation wheel and sensor can resolve the E012. The drum rotation wheel and sensor are located on the rear of the machine.

i cleaned the disc. as of now the machine is working fine.

if this happened again, should i replaced the disc teckat?
