    C2550 wrinkled transfer belt

    What can cause a transfer belt to wrinkle? This is a new OEM transfer belt unit that we replaced for the customer 6 months ago on a C2550. Last week they called to report a noise and blank copies, when the tech went out, the belt was wrinkled and slipping to the rear of the machine? He was able to adjust it but they are already calling back with the same issue.

      Check the levelness of the copier and copier area. something maybe tweeked in the copier itself.

          Check the lock levers,
          Customer May be lifting up ITB, and not locking down properly.
          **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
