Canon advanced IRC2230

Canon IRC2230 is dropping the network connection . They had a older IRC2550 in that spot that didn't have a problem. Customer has a I.T. person that did the networking. Just wondering if there is something they could be overlooking. Not sure what software or server there using .

I've had that happen when the customer was using DHCP, and didn't reserve a address using the mac address. Since the devices have been switched this may be some food for thought. Happens fairly often when new devices are installed.
