IR 3225 Hopper and broken cams

So here is where I am at on my hopper not spinning. I have found that it does rotate if I pull out on the bottle. The cams look good, no cracks. It is just not sending it home all the way. If I use the blue lever to engage the bottle, it comes short of engaged. I can press on the cam with my finger and it will click home. Almost like the cam lever does not have enough travel to send the cam all the way home.
Here's the clincher. If I take out the the toner bottle it works completely fine. Almost like there is some resistance pushing the toner nozzle into the sub hopper area. So to make sure there was not to much toner in the sub hopper I vacumed most of the toner out of the sub hopper. Both the bottle rotate motor and the sub hopper motors work in service mode part-ck.

Thoughts? There is SOME play in the set lever FC8-1126. OR is this indicative of bad cams? This is a 3225i, the mods were needed up to DGA16215 and mine is well above it at DGA29575.

    TIA

I had a simillar situation where this part (in the red circle)on the hopper had snapped.
The problem is you're gonna need to dissassemble half of the machine to check it
