Canon ir2525 does not boot

Hi comrades,i have this machine that is failing to boot.Upon switching on the machine,it opens up the canon logo and the progress bar remains halfway and stops at that.
I noted when you pull the scanner unit half way,it fails to go back to the home position and stops at that.
There are no error codes shown at all.Assistance appreciated in advance,thanx.

Remove > clean end> re-seat the memory on the Main Controller

or replace memory-----------------------

Thanks so much Teckat for your effort .I tried to do that before and failed,however, when i replaced the scanner reader board the machine worked.
