Hi guys. I am having this problem with an canon ir 2016. When you try to copy from bypass, the bypass moves up and down continous. I guess it's a clutch that's causing this problem. Maybe someone can point me the exact one. Thank you.

Maybe the pickup roller isn't turning after the lifter plate is lifted. You should check if the roller turns freely which it shouldn't. There is no clutch that drives the bypass on this machine only a solenoid that releases the drive for the roller which is driven by the main motor. -
