Hi,

I have a ir6255i (400k) that has an intermittent error E001-002 I could see the temperature is sometimes too high, about 230

Does anyone know the problem ?
would Replace the thermistors be enough?

I would start with the thermisters. On an 8295 we had to replace the upper half of the fuser twice. Thermisters did not fix it. Don't remember the subcode. They have two of these machines and one never did it and one twice.

All thermisters and fixing roller and shutter were replaced and that solved the problem.
