Customer has an ir5055 which has been working fine. Now it has an E611-0001. I read another post where the fax was the issue. We disconnected the fax and it works fine. Tried another Fax and it throws the E611 again. What could the issue be? It has had Fax all along and worked fine until now. We reseated RAM and did a Clear All on Fax....any ideas?

Re: E611 on ir5055
Check this thread : http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/ca...highlight=E611
then check if you have the correct Firmware, update if not....
Try replacing SDram if it is correct..Johan -

Re: E611 on ir5055
Another issue? Since we updated firmware, the customer says on some faxes they only receive the first page, but other times they receive the entire document. She says there is no rhyme or reason when this happens, when they ask to resend fax, the whole document comes through. Is there a setting somewhere that we missed?Comment

Re: E611 on ir5055
Does it only recieve te first page, or it only prints the first page ?
have you set Rx report on to see whats happening ?
→ [Function Settings] → [Receive/Forward] → [Fax Settings] → [Fax RX Report].
[For Error Only]: Prints a Fax RX Report only when a reception error occurs.
[On]: Prints a Fax RX Report each time a document is received.
[Off]: Does not print a Fax RX Report.
If reception is cut-off it should give an error...JohanComment
