    Re: code 010d

    hi,

these are renowned for jamming, especially d/sided. Alot of things can be done to help jamming, the duplex flapper, has black pads that it rests on, these become indented and stick the flapper so it has a delay jam usually in the morning, after its been resting all nite.

There are also settings for registration, hv-tr, feed adjust etc, I dont have them to hand right now, they can help, but more than likely if the pads havent been modified then that would be the first place i look.

problem has been found to be caused by the duplex/feed sensor PI 17 becoming dirty.

If your first copies jam you have a sticky pad on a sensor flag. That model is famous for them. Pull on the flag and the one that sticks is your problem. I have had that jam on all copies and the best luck I have had is turning the paper to letter R. Your photo showed the sensor on top of that assembly. That flag sometimes needs an extra wrap.
