Printing documents, running off the left side of the page IR-7105

    Hello,

Seem to be stumped into an issue,
When printing documents, the first 3 pages are fine.
After the first 3, the document starts to be printed more and more to the left. Ending up half way off the page.
Is there a way to re align the laser? or could it be something else?
    Running a Canon ImageRunner (IR-7105)

    Thank you,

I believe thess models had isssues with the laser units. They posssibly had an exchange program a few years back. Replace the laser and my quess you will be fine. Any E-100 codes?

    Thanks,

Sounds to me like a dirty/ bad registration clutch. Take it off the rear side of the horizontal feed assembly and clean the plates. If the problem gets better, replace it.

Problems with the laser unit? No Kidding! thats funny because my IR C5185 has been going through 4 of them like crazy recently. Besides that, the IR 7105 has well over 2 million copies on it and still ticking,
Thank you for the advice! Unfortunately the problem was overlooked, I found out it has to do with bad rollers inside the papper deck causing the papper to slip inside but not jam. No the machine is not throwing any E-100 codes. But i will be keeping an eye if the same thing happens than you both for the advice!.
