Canon IRA C2020 Light Streaks

Hi Guys,
Just been to two customers with the same problem,same model Canon IRA C2020's....
Both machines are leaving light streaks on the copies and/or prints. I changed the drum units in both and that did not work...any ideas?

Hi Doug
take the lasers out and clean them, remove left cover unplug them remove the plastic clip that holds the ribbon cable and metal clip then slide them out.
Beware when you put them back make sure you get the rear side of the unit or left if you look at it from the side of the machine on its rail or like I did 1st time you may break the connectios on the right of the unit.

Also with the right door open have a look at the mylar on the patch sensor below the ITB this can get deformed and rub toner off the belt as it rotates.
