AdvC2030 can't access service mode

I have an AdvC2030 in the shop that I can't get into the Service Mode. All the buttons are working but for some reason it won't go into Service Mode. Any ideas? In the back of my mind, I recall some alternate way of holding down some buttons as you turn it on??

Could be 4&9 setting
If applies _Also check if Fax Volume control button is stuck

To go to Service Mode Classic Level 1 follow the steps bellow:

1) Select Settings/Registration

2) Press 2 & 8 or 4 & 9 at the same time

3) Select Settings/Registration

Wow, it was the volume control button being stuck!! Thanks so much, I would have NEVER figured that out.
