Does it matter where I get an iR3300 fax kit from or is the hardware different in different countries?

Oh ok. Is Fax Card - FXBD2233 used on the IR3300 in the US or is it a different one? I found the above mentioned part number on the Canon Australia website at the following page: Canon Australia - imageRUNNER iR3300

I think Tanya may be right, since we use different paper sizes here in the U States, they may not be compatible. I looked on the website, and could not find where you got the number. Our Item number for the G3 fax board is 6981A002AA. I don't imagine that this clears anything up though, wish I could be of more help.

Yep they are different as the part num I have is 6981A009AA, don't forget they will be different due to the differing adapters, voltages, and most importantly the differing standards of the country's phone system.

Ok. I guess I can't look on ebay for a fax kit then.

If anyone in Australia could confirm the part number of the fax kit and knows a good place to try and get it, it would be much appreciated.

The voltage is 230v for Aust.
