    help

I am working on a canon ICD 760 small copier, I thought I had resolved the problem. paper pick up is not consistent, I replaced the pick up half moon rollers, and pick up solenoid, worked for a while, but the problem is still presistent. Is there a adjustment that I am missing or maybe something else is not working in the pick up area?

Make sure to analyze the copy paper. If it is other the 20lb, or some other than normal texture, color paper, or if the paper has humidity in it ( will see small bumps on the paper, or you can almost feel the humidity on the paper ) it may contribute to random misfeeding/ jamming.
    Try fresh paper.

Often those units have problems with the p/u roller - shaft assembly returning to "home position". Check for stretch in the small spring that keeps tension on the shaft-rotation-return assembly[the little s-hook] towards the front of the shaft. Occasionally replacement of the bushing/cam assemblies[rear] are necessary.
