Thank any way. It's seem I might brought a new copier but not canon brand. Electronic without services available is useless. I understand now . I'll have to chose another brand. OK. Thanks..,

I had this a couple times and reinstalling the system software fix'd it.
Once though I had to replace the DDR module and the IP board to fix it .
But in trying to fix it I came across how to reset the IP board if the control panel is unresponsive.

Short the two pins at JP141 on the Image Processor Board (like resetting the NP6012)

When ever i get a call to this problem
All i do is to reload the system firmware.
Always seems to cure it
Never have to do anything else (Boot, and PCL),
Do know of a couple of machines that needed new DIMM but so far i've been lucky enough to get just the ones with system reloads
WARNING mind.. What to reload with sometimes depends on what the customers platform is
If it' just windows, that 9/10 you can use the lastest version
But we have a HUGH account where only V61.01 will only work, anything else, and the machine will not print
So i can only advise is to put back on it what it had on in the 1st place

We have it connected to a server as a network printer normally.

I have connected it to a single PC (XP) with the USB cable and used the CD that came with the machine for the driver installation and it gives the message Download Connected or Download Connected 7701 but the Canon driver installation sofware fails when it tries to connect to the print.
Whilst windows hardware setup detects the hardware but doesn't think that the driver software matches it.

The machine will not respond to any button presses.

I have not managed to track down the firmware for it.
The Canon support site only has the installation drivers.

Hello, i have a iR1022iF with the "DOWNLOAD CONNECTED" Message.
The Printer don't response to any button i pressed and i can't get the ip-adress of this thing

I've searched the whole last week for options to reset/repair it, anything i could get is that i have to reset the system firmware with the "Service Support Tool" which normally only Canon's technicians work with. Then the newest Firmware, i think it's not v61.01 but if it's functionally, everything is fine.
Now i've got the SST v4.33e.

But don't really know how to connect to the Hardware
and don't have the Firmware to reset this ...
(the printer is detected as CanonCFYSA)

Could you please send me the newest (or latest functionally) Firmware and a short instruction how to update/reset the iR1022iF with the SST? Thanks for Help.

I have the same problem 'download connected' in my Cannon iR1022A,
I`m looking for actually version (or latest ver. 3.2.1 is enought) SST to try check problem in software first,
