Canon ImageRunner Advance 6275 Fax install

I have a customer that has 2 Canon ImageRunner Advance units that they want to add fax to. I think I found a part number 5992B002, but not sure if that is correct and all I need. I normally work on HP printers and MFP's. Is there any special instructions for installing and configuring fax board? Thanks

The fax is available as a product code and not a part number. That looks like a Canon product code, simply google it to verify, or consult a sales guide that lists the appropriate equipment options for each device. The fax kit includes all mounts and instructions, fairly simple to install, even on site.

Thanks for the info. So pretty much a hardware install, no software or firmware update needed?

Just hardware, though flashing everything to current firmware isn't a bad idea. A tip from a Canon specialist was to do a NCU clear and all clear in service after installation. Should be no problem, I've retro fitted a few of them in the field as well as fresh set ups.
