IR 2016 LCD display problem

Hi

Has anyone of you the same problem: when recording a new contact in
the adress folder ,it's impossible to see the first 3 letters/digit you are
typing,same when you just want to see your contact on the display.
What is wrong ?
Any info welcome !

Do you mean that the whole display is off to one side?
ALL CLEAR in service mode.

Yes !! Can you help me with the service mode ?
(I'm more used with Ricoh products, my last souvenir of a Canon copy machine is
the NP 1515 and the *3*)

You should then see SSW displayed on the screen.
Use the right arrow button to scroll through to the fucntion named CLEAR...select ALL...then restart the machine.
