    Top Edge Shifting in Canon IR 2545

    Dear Friends,

    I have Canon IR 2545 in which top edge is getting shifted.Hence My image gets deleted on top side and I get more margin on the bottom side when using A4R or legal.

    This happens from both Platen and DADF.

    Please help me out.

      If the top edge is permanently shifted and it is different for the different trays it is a setting in service mode, I have had this before.
      Have a look in the manual for service mode and look under #print, there are a lot of adjustments there.
      Note each cassette has its own settings to play with.

          What is top edge? Lead edge or front to rear?

              Dear Sir,

              It is front to rear.The Shift is about 1 Inch.It is nly for A4R & Legal Size papers.
