Canon MF6550 "Check Document" on display - cannot find anything in the ADF

The pictogram on the display has an orange light indicating there is a piece of paper in the Document Feeder but nothing is in there. Ran a sheet through by hand, air can used, nothing found. Is this the motor in the ADF or a Board in the back?

Other small models it is a flag that is out of place in doc feeder. Usually the first or second one.

Thank you, I did check the sensor arms but I will double check them if I get back there. They may just get another machine from me due to it's age.
