    iradv c5030 E880-004

    i had this machine at customer place always showing this error code..Off on machine will work again but after a while error code again...i check the service manual is controller fan 2(fm12)i did change the fan but still is not the faulty parts ...any idea guys ..

      check connections

      swap fan (same) (FM11) to FM12 for testing

      J109 - on Riser PCB=FM12

          I've just had the same problem except sub code is E880 - 0003 any luck.

              canon 5030 just remove the back cover of the machine and board cover between the pcb and mfp board there will be a fan assembly having 2 fans remove the fan unit and change it from another machine .or just clean it .it will work definnitly
