Canon IR C5185 - Driver driving me crazy

I have a canon 5185 that I have had for years and it has never had a problem. I switched from Comcast to Fios for my business so had to change all the addresses. I then had to reinstall all the drivers. Everything worked for all the copiers and computers except mine.

For some reason the driver will see the Canon copier but will not allow me to access the stapler and paper deck, they are all grayed out. All the other computers are working fine and can staple, saddle stitch and access all the drawers including the paper deck.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going on please help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver several times. It is the driver that comes with the copier. The H1 driver. Version 2.0

Please note this is the same driver I was using before changing and it always worked correctly.

    Thank you in advance

Obvious first question would be, do you actually HAVE the H1 Fiery installed on the Canon, or does the network cable plug straight into the machine?

Sorry I should of been clearer in my post. Yes I have the H1 attached to the copier. The driver has worked fine for 4 years with no issues in regards to the stapler and drawers. The only thing that changed was I switched from comcast to fios and the only thing the tech did was after he installed the fios system he moved 1 ethernet cable from the comcast router to his. I have a switch that has all the other devices running through it.

There is no logical reason I can think of that this may have happened. After the switch to Fios I did have to change the copiers IP address to auto but as I also mentioned, all the other computers are accessing it fine and can staple, saddle stitch, and send to any drawer of the 5 including the side paper deck. It is only my computer that cannot do this even though it always did before.

      Thanks

Have you check the bi-directional communication settings on your computer?

It may be stuck on the old fixed IP and not reaching the H1.

Is your PC also connected to the same switch as the other users?

You switched the COPIER'S IP address to auto? Have you set the H1's IP address to the new fixed IP?
