    IRA6255 jam 0102

    Does anybody know what might go wrong in the paperfeed units that would cause this code? Replacing the assembly repairs the problem but the pick up roller seems to drop onto the paper but pull back up before it actually spins. All that's in there electrically are sensors and a solenoid.

    0102 Jam Code
    The paper is stopping between the feed and separation rollers.

    The feed unit was replaced, DCON was cleared, but the jamming remained.

    solution here was to replace the Right Deck Pickup Motor M11. The part number for M11 is FK2-7674-000.

    It should be noted that M11, and M24 , the Left Deck Pickup Motor are interchangeable, this may be used in troubleshooting.

    Probably not your issue

    0102==Paper Deck 1 and 2
    The tabs are for release or to actuate the pressure for the separation and feed rollers when the Paper Deck is close.
    The tabs are in the left position (2) from the factory.
    The tabs should be move to the right position (1) at install.

    Check the white pressure tabs to ensure they are in the correct position.
    Tabs should be moved to the right on the 1 mark.

      Thanks for the reply Teckat. I saw that post on the knowledgebase. It's not that. Machine has over 1m. PFU fixed the problem. I'm just obsessed with finding out what is going wrong in the PFU. I've changed quite a few of these for this problem.

        When 0102 issue happens again, remove all remaing paper in deck, power off \on , see if printer deck indicates to add paper ?

          I will. I think that's what the tp about the white tabs was about

            With that jam code it seems like only a new or different feed unit fixes it especially the left deck. I have had to replace many also. I have compared old and new and "see" nothing different.

              Just for the hell of it I'm gonna order a solenoid on my next order and give it a shot some time down the road

                I replaced solenoid FL3-4906 and one way clutch FL3-2254 into a bad pfu and it now works. I have a few bad units. Gonna order a couple sets and try again. Don't know which part fixed it. I would guess one way clutch. Next time I'll change one at a time.
