    Hi Doug
Colour or b/w? Had one do double was the drum in this case cyan.

Also had drums do ghosting like a fuser repeat image drum width across the page.

Drums tend to be the main cause of ghosting images on the Canons.
Is it a spectific color? It's usually black drum that does it.h
      Secondary cause is the fuser.

Like the other posts said, usually the drum. My drums go 50% to 120% but they usually do not make it to 100%.

Ghosting image? Usually Drum and rarely humidity.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

On that model I've had ghosting from the fuser more than once. Typically because the customer sets the wrong paper size/type and runs a bunch of copies. Best bet after checking the drums.

Thank you for your reply Les,
I just completed the call ...adjusted density and sharpness...really not much I could do because it was very fine print in a little block on the corner of the page. With these series Canons it is had to do anything with.
Again, Thank you for your reponse.

hi guys.if you see bulletins it tells you to do settings and then adjust your up stream and down stream settings for the drums.i find that it doesn't work.strip your drum and clean the brushes and excess toner put back and then leave settings as bulletin says.if its from the fuser and for 1 colour.set your fuser temp down.IMG-SD CUSTOM IMG SPD.PUT TO MINUS.
                    that should help.

hi.if you notice you not getting yield.strip drum out of unit.i use vacuum an I vacuum brushes and excess toner from dev.take charge roller out and clean with either mr mckenic or even dish washing liq.just dry with clean cloth after.
doesn't make it a new drum but you will get a couple of thousand prints getting you much closer to yield. just rem to do a auto grad with a clean laser for mc to get a accurate dens reading
