DADF-K1 keeps multilple-feeding

Hi, all
I have many K1 feeders from IRC3200 always grab multi-pages even I put brand new separation pad. From service manual I found a Dip switch can be adjusted. Any idea about this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

this is a bad DF it is the same as the dadf-b1 on the ir 400.. there is two diffent sep pads for this DF.. FF6-2455-020 is the one they tell you to try if the stock one is not working.. and some time you just have to increase the spring tention to get them to work right...as far as the switch setting not to sure on that will have to do some looking myself for that.. hope this helps

Might want to try fitting a sep roller assy p/n - FG6-9713
Seem to fail well before there time same as the sep pad.
If all else fails just replace the whole Document feed assy p/n - FG6-9711

Thanks for replys! I know it is not easy to replace pad and roller on this feeder( have to open many covers) Anyway, I will order the parts you guys mentioned above to try. Thanks again.

There's a modified spring that goes underneath the sep pad.
If you fit the new sep pad you need to fit the new spring at the same time.
