Hello everyone,
I have two Canon iR2525 copiers that are both set up to scan to both email addresses stored in the Address Book, and folders set up on a share to a Windows Server 2008 server (using SMB). I would like to edit the Address Book entries for the scan folders to redirect them to identical folders set up on a Windows Server 2016 machine. However, I can't seem to get the changes to save (I am working remotely from home as I write this and haven't attempted from work or the copiers themselves). I located a copy of the manual and it appears to indicate trying to scan to a folder using Windows SMB is not possible above Windows Server 2008. Is this true? Has anyone else attempted to scan to a share on Windows Server 2016? If Windows Server 2016 will not work with the iR2525, will it work for Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
