    [Error Code] Canon IRA-C 7065i E0733-0001

    Hello,
I'm having a problem with one machine IRAC7065i that was working fine on friday. I'm hoping you will be able to help me.

I have an indicating error E0733-0001.
We already checked connectors on DC and Main controller, also we tried replacing:
    DC and Main Con,
power supply units: UN7 - Relay PCB,
    UN33,UN34,UN35 - DC power Supply 12V/24V,
    UN8,9,10 AC driver PCB,
as we have spare machine for parts.

    No result..

Also in Service Mode everything is in japanese, and shows no version number,
if I try to clear M-CON or error it freezes.
p.s. we also replaced HDD, with no result.

    Thank you in advance!

what version of firmware are you using on the device?
I would also look at the AC Driver. There is a tech pub in regards to this error code and this model where it ended up being the AC Driver

The service mode language is very interesting, points to a system failure. I once had that on a different model, but the error code was E 355, had to get a new counter pcb fron Canon, they cannot be swapped, even for testing. Power up while holding 2/4 simultaneously, the device will attemp to test the system PCBs.

        Hi
        Thank you for replying.

I dont recall which version exactly, software was updated two or three months ago, (I believe DC-CON was 68.01 and M-CON 75.01) now everything is set at 0.
When i replaced HDD got the same error after 10 seconds.
I tried replacing AC driver, but got the same error. Will try again today, maybe i missed something?
I've tested PCB and all is OK, except for PCI bridge returns "no" (but this I think is becouse i don't have all PCB extensions installed, i get same result on another working machine).

I think you're right that Counter PCB could be the issue, becouse we tried almost everything (from reader controller to fuses)

        Thanks again!

have you tried powering the machine on with no accessories attached to it?
With the main unit pulled out?
You could easily have a pinched wire causing a ground out.

            Hi
We tried powering it without reader unit and finsher. I will try with the main unit pulled out today.
Also we tried powering it with unplugguing connector after connector on MAIN CON and looked for faulty wiring (this worked for me before on IR5570), but we didn't get anywhere.

Later, I will order new PCB Counter and will let you know how it goes.

            Thank you for helping !

The language thing is kinda funny - I noticed even on the new imagePRESS C800/C850 series that when the machine errors out for the speed license prompt, everything is in japanese if you try to check what the error is. I am assuming if the machine doesn't get to a certain point it won't automatically switch the language...

Usually DC Controller is where I'd be looking for something like this...did you flash the firmware after replacing the DC Controller?

Worst case scenario is that you are replacing the faulty part but you need to do it in some kind of sequence or the "new part" will blow a fuse somewhere over and over.
