    Cartridge/Toner GPR-40

    Dear friends:

Recently a custumer bought ten units of cartridge GPR40 for LBP6570, but after replacing the cartridge it starts to spill toner and prints ugly

I have tried to install three toners and all of them have the same problem.

Do u have any idea what could be the issue? Thanks.IMG_1517.JPGIMG_1518.JPGIMG_1521e.jpgIMG_1522.JPGIMG_1527.JPG

Looks like bad cartridges, have had customers buy cartridges, many of them, thinking they got a good deal, only to be disappointed that it's not a good deal.

      Is this OEM cartridge?

Inspect charging contacts inside the printer!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Yes, it is OEM cartridge. I have tried with another used cartridge and no problem.

They are not OEM.. they are remanufactured units... my guess would be the doctor blade in development area improperly spaced. Have them call where they bought them.. get credit and find a new vendor.

I think so. Here we have a video. We open the cartridge from the box.

sorry but videos really don't mean diddly to me .. did the box have the holographic Canon logo?

just because they have the pull strip doesn't mean they are OEM... the MAJORITY of manufacturers put a pull tab in to keep from leaking toner during shipment.. either way the carts are bad and your customer needs replacement... if they ARE genuine OEM Canon toners there should be no problem getting the replaced as long as they have proof of purchase of the toners... if they are remans... could be a crap shoot.

                      ch

charging contacts would give total black page... smudges / spills are from doctors blades or spacing from dev to drum
