Canon IR2525 "prepare the toner" message

    Canon IR2525 "prepare the toner" message

    Good Afternoon Guys,
    I have a canon IR2525 at a library that says prepare the toner even when a new one is installed.
    Tha funny thing is that the toner motor runs, but not constantly, and the message never goes away.
    Any ideas?

      that is normally an engine controller issue
      Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

          I have replaced a couple of hopper drive assemblies on this model.

              I get an adding toner message every time I update software on that series. You may try to update the UST software if you have it.
