    Copying using ADF a4 size and detect a3 size scanning

    hi everyone i have a problem for canon ir7105 when i am copying a4 size the scanning lamp going to right side i used to clean s7 sensor but no luck same problem ..........any solution for this....thanks in advance...

    Have you checked in service mode what the sensors are saying, have you verified that I/O mode shows them working? Have you also checked to see what the RCON is reporting for size while moving the width guide? There is also a width adjustment that you can run to calibrate the tray. It's chapter 17.5.2.1 in the service manual. If all else fails. I do an RCON clear and reset all to the door values for the scanner and reader. Just remember to run your white lvl adjustments and CCD adjustments after. Good luck!

      thanks for your reply i saw one of posted here in forum about sensor test for adf (reader controller ) i follow the instruction how to do it if there is faulty sensor after test i tried again to copy test now is working fine.......Big thanks......
