    IRA-4035 CDS updater error code 82024206

    Im trying to update firmware in this machine and im getting this error code. I checked the settings for cds server and ugw server and port 443 settings.
    i cant find anything in the service manual about this error code. Has anybody run into this before and can help.

    82024206, An error occurred is displayed on the CDS Updater screen.

    System software cannot be updated
    through the CDS updater and the COM-TEST fails.



    Solution :


    In this case all necessary network setting in the service mode were correct.

    Service mode Level 2

    Copier > Option > Network > STS-PORT = 1
    Copier > Option > Network > CMD-PORT =1
    Service Mode level 1
    Copier > Function > Install > E-RDS = 1
    Copier > Function > Install > RGW-PORT = 443
    Copier > Function > Install > RGW-ADR (is set correct.) https://a01.ugwdevice.net/ugw/agenti
    The DNS server IP address was set correct.

    Copier > Function > Install > COM-TEST would give N/G
    Copier > Function > Install > COM-LOG gave error 810F 2028 *Server Certificate

    If the error is pressed under the Information column a second screen appears. In this screen the error is
    *Server Certificate error : get Configuration is displayed.
    ---Clearing the CA KEY was tried but it did not resolve the problem.--
    Service mode level 2 Copier > Function > Clear > CA-KEY.
    The problem is related to the CA-KEY.

    --The problem could only be resolved by reloading the system software using the SST.--

    Re-loading the software using the USB device did not resolve the proble
    m.

      Thanks a lot Teckat Ill try that when I can find the firmware and report if it worked.

            Sorry for reviving a dead thread...

            So what's the deal with the CA-KEY not being updated via USB updates?

            I have a couple of older 1st-gen ADV in the field that outright refuse to connect to imageWARE Remote.

            I haven't tried using SST to update as I really don't carry the laptop much anymore, but I'm guessing the USB updates will not overwrite or update the key even if overwrite all is used as the update option?

            I've tried just about everything at some of these accounts, maybe this is the solution.

            In 99% of the cases, when the customer moved to newer machine (most likely 3rd gen) it connected right away.
