[Misc] How to clean the upper unit of DADF G1 (FM1-B002-000)

    Hi Fellas,

As the title states : I want to clean inside the Scanner Unit (FM1-B002-000) which is located on the upper part of the Duplex Image Reader G1 (on top of a iRA8295).

When I do duplex copies - the second side comes out blurr-ish. Of course in Printing is fine.

I have removed the unit but I am afraid to open it.

Anyone tried to open and clean ?

    Pointers ?

    Thnx for reading...

    Hi dude!

Is it the same with scans? Do you have smb or mail scanning installed to check?
Usually dirty lens or a mirror cause brighter copy. Can you post a sample?
If it ain't broke, don't fix it
