Error 748-xxxx After using SST

    [Error Code] Error 748-xxxx After using SST

    hello, i got error code after using SST to fill software system on new HDD.

    first i got error message on booting using HDD1 : 748-2012
    i change HDD2, and try SST again till successfully i got error : 748-9000 on main menu
    then i try again using HDD1 but now i got error : 748-2010

    when i try HDD2 on another machine, its work perfectly (i think).

    now machine 6255 always 748-xxxx.

    any suggestion about this error code?

      E748 Error Codes:
      Stop and call the Technical Support Center (1-800-528-2830).
      *NOTE 1: For any of these error codes, do not swap any PCB's from any other machine.
      Doing so may render both machines unrecoverable.
      *NOTE 2: Do not use any of the User Mode or Service Mode clears when encountering these error codes.
      Executing the Service Mode or User Mode clears may render the machine unrecoverable.



      Did u first FORMAT HDD using format file in SST       Hard Disk Drive (FK2-9316-000)

      E748 2012 Error code


      Solution :


      Suggest to remove and reseat flash rom. If this does not resolve the issue, replace the Flash PCB. (FM3-9204-000)

      E748-2010 Error Code
      Error :

      The control panel LCD displays the E748-2010 error code every time the machine is turned on.



      Workaround :

      In this case the solution was to replace the Hard Disk Drive (FK2-9316-000) and flash the system software.
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

          then i format using SST, and flash the HDD

          now my machine have successfully booting, but error 748-9000
          what your suggestion ?

          what part i need to replace?
          maybe SATA-FlashPCB(FM4-2488-000) ?

                      Flash PCB = Boot program

                      u can't remove and SWAP Flash PCB to another printer Main PCB 1

                      u can REPLACE Flash PCB on a printers current Main Controller PCB 1then install the system using SST.

                      or Transfer it to a new Main PCB 1 ( on a Transfer)- It is not necessary to reconfigure/register the data after replacing the Main Controller PCB 1.)

                      E748 -9000 -00 = Title System error
