    There is a safety switch at bottom of unit which detects if the tray goes too far down, maybe that isn't in correct position, also what jam code did it you get that required you to power cycle the engine.

        Pod Deck Lite-B1
        Title :
        Paper Source Needs to be Checked Message

        ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        There was a small bracket on the side of the Pod Deck that was bent preventing the drawer from closing all the way.
        The bracket was repaired and then the drawer closed, but the error message remained.
        Since there was a damaged bracket, continued to inspect the stock assembly and cavity where the stock assembly slides into.
        _Found that the bracket to SW3 (Deck Lifter Lower Limit Switch) was bent not activating the switch correctly.
        Reforming the bracket for SW3 (Deck Lifter Lower Limit Switch) resolved the issue.
        The following image shows the location of SW3.
          After you've repaired the POD Deck Lite-B1, and for instance have replaced the Deck Driver PCB, first follow the steps in the Service Manual,
          1) Remove all sheets of paper from the Compartment.
          2) Turn on the host machine. The fan wind-power correction sequence is performed
          automatically.
          3) Execute the following item on the service mode.
          (Lv.1) COPIER> FUNCTION> CST> DK1-INT1 (Initialization when replacing the parts)
          4) Execute the following item on the service mode.
          (Lv.1) COPIER> FUNCTION> CST> PDK-A4
          4-1) Set the A4 paper in the Compartment to adjust and align it with the width of guide.
          4-2) Select the item, and then press OK key.
          4-3) After automatic adjustment, the value is stored in the following item.
          (COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>PDK-A4)
          5) Execute the following item on the service mode.
          (Lv.1) COPIER> FUNCTION> CST> PDK-A5R
          5-1) Set the A5R paper in the Compartment to adjust and align it with the width of guide.
          5-2) Select the item, and then press OK key.
          5-3) After automatic adjustment, the value is stored in the following item.
          (COPIER>ADJUST>CST-ADJ>PDK-A5R).
          After this replacement, (just as an example of repair to the POD Deck Lite-B1, if the message still remains and you have updated Firmware to v36.01.02 or higher, enter Service Mode Level 1, COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > and on the last screen you will see DK-RCV. Highlight this and run it. Power cycle the machine one more time and the message should be gone and the POD Deck Lite-B1 now fully functional.
