Hello friends my Canon ir 2535 shows error E 000280 ,please how to reset this error or I have to replace any parts, I will be grateful ,Thanks

Description Reading error after writing.
Remedy
1.Disconnect and then connect the flexible cable(Relay PCB
(PCB2)-Main Controller PCB (PCB1) 50pin).
2.Disconnect and then connect the flexible cable(Relay PCB
(PCB2)-Main Controller PCB (PCB1) 64pin).
3.Disconnect and then connect the flexible cable(CCD unit-
Relay PCB (PCB2)).
4.Replace the flexible cable.
5.Replace the Relay PCB (PCB2).
6.Replace the Main Controller PCB (PCB1).

but when i enter the service mode and check the history of the errors there i found this ERROR<br><div><strong>E197 0000 </strong>Title Error in communication of Laser Driver PCB (PCB14)</div><div>Description Communication error 1 with image PCB</div><div>Remedy 1.Check the cable.</div><div>2.Replace the Laser Scanner Unit.</div><div>3.Replace the DC Controller PCB (PCB4). so i am new with canon iR 2535 , now my question is which the actual ERROR E000280 or E 197 , i clear this error E 197 from the history but when i turned ON/OFF the copier the error still there.

An error in history is just that: a previous error... in the colums behind it there shoud be a date&time when it ocurred and a date&time when it was solved.
AFAIK you can only clear ALL errors in history, not just one. You can clear the current error, but if it isn't solved, it will come back.
The current errorcode is always on the display, no need te go into servicemode for it. Sometimes you need to press the mainenance/settings button (the head with the asterisk)...JohanComment

I enter the service mode and select clear and then press ALL. The copier takes few seconds and reboot and then the Canon monogram with white bar appears on the screen ,when the bar comes black up to middle it's hangout more the 30min ,I trun off the copier and On it again after few minutes , but still the same.please need help,. hi there..IF THE SCREEN SHOWS A E280 then that's your error you need to sort out.its a communication error between scanner unit and mc.
firstly look at ribbion cables. also there should be a sub code aswell.what is it..easier to break down the error codeComment

If bar stops then machine is not totally booting. This model has a flash drive instead of hard drive so I would look at that and reflash the machine for startersComment
