Thanks.
How to clear just the Administrator password.
Under counter check>device info/other, there are 2 buttons:
check device configuration and initialize admin password.
Selecting the Initialize Admin Password button will display a screen similar to a LMS license key.
Answer :
Password Initialization Method for administrator password clear only.
(Procedure)
1.Notify the dealer or service technician of the device serial number and obtain an LK (license key) from Canon Technical Support @ (800) 528-2830
2.Select the following in the Local UI (Select [Counter/Device Information] > [Device Info./Other] on the device information screen > [Initialize Admin. Password])
3.Input the license key you obtained from Canon and press the [Start] button
(Items initialized)
😎The default administrator (Administrator) password is initialized to "7654321"
😀Department ID management is disabled and the System Manager ID and PIN are cleared (made blank)
(Restrictions)
👮The license key is issued in LMS, based on the device serial number. The license key is different each time.
💂License keys can only be installed once.
👽License keys can be reissued for a device up to 100 times.
👥*Users should be responsible for strictly managing passwords, and this function should be not be easily provided to the user.

Thanks, everyone. I ended up calling the service tech who set up the copier for the password. Turns out the default password has been changed by Canon.
