    Fiery install Canon c7055

    Hello.

My machine has a fiery on the back of the unit but it doesn't seem to be installed correctly. It's all plugged in and connected to the copier but there doesn't seem to be any options on the control panel to access the settings. When it's connected to the network the machine picks up what I assume is the fiery ip address of 10.x.x.x but I can't find the actually address of the machine and using a network scanner doesn't locate the machine either.

Is there a "factory reset" I can perform on the fiery to reinstall it on the machine if not any suggestions as to why I can't see the fiery.

    Thanks
    Chris

      Hi.

Thanks very much for the manual. I have confirmed that everything is correctly connected and the fiery powers up with the status LED's showing 00 which means its powered up and ready. Yet there is no "printer" menu displayed on the screen.

What would be my next step be?

      Thanks for your continued help.

        Hi.

Ok - so I am a bit stupid! checked again and it turns out the option wasn't set in the service menu - I now have a fully working fiery. Thanks for the manual with out it I would never have known to check the setting in service menu.
