ir3045 solid black

I have a ir3045 in the field that is making solid black copies and prints. You can barely see the image through the solid black. If you turn the copier off then back on, you may get about 5-10 good copies then the solid black issue begins again. Any ideas? Maybe the main controller?

Also pure contact on the charge roller can be reason for black shits.Try with new drum.
