how sensitive are these units. i am trying to get my parts dept. to order me a new blk developer unit. for testing, instead of going back out with another used one. thanks for replys

Hi,

They fail.
Replace as new.
On old units, the seal breaks at the gears and leaks the dev out causing all sorts of issues.

I have a lot of these machines. After a while the gears wear off. The 50xx have couplings in the back that fail. New style coupler has a pin in it (old black, new white).
