Rebuilding DEV's Canon c7055

Hello.

Is it possible to rebuild/refill the dev units in a c7055?

I didn't pay a lot for the machine and I am trying to keep costs down initially until I decide if its worth keeping it or not - replacing the 3 colour devs will cost nearly twice what I paid for the whole machine!

Not possible


That's why you got it cheap.

developer starter replacement is possible only with the Imagepress series.

Oh yes - whilst it is possible to buy a cheap car and get a good one the chances of it are slim - the same goes for printers - regardless of what the ebay seller tells you!

If I pay actual retail price for the dev's then I will be in for more than 4 times the cost of the machine - just not worth it when I am not 100% on the machine yet - its still producing good copy as long as its a4 short edge first or if there is not much colour towards the outside edge of the paper so I can still run it so not the end of the world whilst I look for bargains....

Hi.

Daft question of the day award! I have found it once within the service menu's but now I am unable to... Where do I find the actual dev levels and which way do they run (100% full or 100% empty?)

There is no % level like for toner. They are values which you need to know how to read.with SM help of course.I do not remember exactly where in service mode.
