    go to the counter button then info key to see if you have the ps option installed. Try the UFR2 driver and see if it is better.

      Try running the PG-TEST on a lower colour gradation. I find running the test with a full whack of colour hides the fault (especially if it's happening on half tones)

        @anzew

        I use PG10 just as a global test...
        You can user PG4 or PG5 per color to look for more exact issues..

          what was the PS test referencing? monitor, color code? What software?

          they kinda matter. If your PG test is true with no issues, take out your finger and point.

            the machine is PS , but my question is why when i make the ps-test inside the machine the colors appeared true colors (blue is blue not dark blue as i make print from pc ,or megnata dark not like the ps-test . Thats what made me ask why the inside test of the machine all colors appeared differ et than the print from the pc

              May I ask if you have a print server or RIP attached to your printer? If yes, that will need to be calibrated, but first you calibrate the 7055.

                No print server , just ps license inside the machine

                  OK, you should calibrate the machine for plain and heavy stock anyway, check the PS driver color settings too. 7055's are usually in the ballpark.

                    Use the auto gradation function, under adj/ maintenance tab, not sure if you knew what I meant.

                          "Ball Park" - American slang for "Fairly Close".

                          If the internal prints look good, and you've already done the Auto-Gradation, then it's likely a color setting in the PostScript print driver. Are you using Mac or Windows computer? Macs handle colors a little differently than Windows.

                          Something else to keep in mind... Your monitor on the computer is rendering color using R-G-B (Red-Green-Blue), but the copier renders color using C-M-Y-K. Some things WILL look a little different from the screen to the printout.

                          As was suggested before... Try using the Canon UFR II print drivers and see if that makes a difference. PostScript is "quirky".
