Well my company purchased a ira c5051 with the simple error of 027 which usually is the coupling of the dev unit which i replaced but did not help. I chose to replace the whole unit but still had the error i even replaced the hooper, dc controller, motor, and the drum driver this is not only another job for me but it became personal after a simple error has given me a huge headache any advice is well taken thanx yall

Did you also check the end of the Developers to make sure that drive coupler wasn't broken? -

I had this error. When i was replacing the hooper the error was gone.Comment

The Service Manual has a pretty simple walkthrough on removing the hopper units, beginning on page 396 (Chapter 4-133). Follow through all of the steps in order, and you should be able to replace the hopper easily.Comment
